Retreats
ELIM Retreats, as a ministry of Barnabas International, is devoted to caring for the lives of global workers. ELIM offers six day retreats for local church leadership and missionaries for rest, recovery, reflection, recreation and renewal.

Who will you meet at your retreat?
Diane and Henry Stewart have served in pastoral ministry for 30 years, and have been serving missionaries with Barnabas International for the last 23 years. We are very young, 70+ people!
Where do the retreats happen?
We offer a beautiful and private location in the Midwest. We provide a fully equipped home for your use.
Whom does ELIM serve?
We serve pastors and missionaries. However we will serve you “one at a time”; one person, one couple or one family per retreat. Whether you come as an individual, as a couple, or family, you are the singular focus for the Lord’s time with you here.
What do the retreats provide?
Each participant Zooms with us prior to the retreat. We spend some time telling our stories. We work together to build the retreat design to accomplish the participant’s hopes. Retreats might be for spiritual formation, debriefing, pastoral care, or simply time for a great deal of rest and recreation, etc. We depend on prayer, God’s grace and the Scriptures as we walk with folks in a retreat.
- Our operating season is from May 15- October 1.
- The cost is $430.00 for the home rental fee. Participants supply their own food.
